Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Account information, such as a nickname, login details and purchase records if you buy coins.

When you use video or voice chat, your browser asks for permission to use your camera and microphone. We use that access to run your live conversation. You can turn it off in your browser settings at any time, although video and voice features will not work without it.

The people you talk to can see and hear you, and they may be able to record what they see on their own device. We cannot prevent that, so only share what you are comfortable with. See help and safety for practical tips.

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain and improve the service, including matching you with other users.
• Process payments and prevent fraud.
• Keep the community safe, including looking into reports and enforcing our terms of service.
• Understand how the site is used, so we can fix problems and improve it.
• Respond to your messages.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences and measure how the site is used. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic and behaviour in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

We share information with service providers who help us run the site, such as hosting, analytics and payment processors, and only as needed for those services. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a business transfer. Other users see only what you choose to share in a conversation.

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

Camloo Chat is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has used the site, please contact us.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
